Grok is an Indian Ed-Tech Startup focusing on educating students on how to apply academic concepts using latest tech-tools. I have worked as a Designer for about 2 years and used to handle the designing from concept to its art direction, to its final output- print and digitally, both ways.

I’ve worked on diverse creative projects. It includes designing educational books, crafting engaging visuals for LMS, managing digital content, and producing marketing videos and animations. I’ve also led brand identity revamps and designed innovation labs and office spaces.

My role involved transforming these technical concepts into digestible, visually appealing formats that school students could easily understand. My Design process included Solving Problems through Design-Simplifying complex problems and communicating solutions visually.

The TG for this brochures were the parents of the school students studying from grade 5th to 7th. I designed it with vibrant colours and elements for each of their courses. We didn’t wish to make it simple like any other regular brochure, so it was illustrated using the brand characters. The boy in yellow is used in their course study.

We also designed and published the activity books for the students who have completed their programs in IoT, Robotics, Data Science, 3D Printing and AI. Such were the themes given to the books.

These workbooks were designed incorporating practical learning exercises that aligned with the company’s mission. I created these books from scratch – from scripting, sizing, its art direction, designing to printing…The theme was kept fun, colorful and interactive for the kids to not get bored with it..

I developed engaging storyboards and illustrations to design frames for educational videos, ensuring they were vibrant and expressive. The characters were crafted with fun and dynamic expressions to make learning more interactive.

These videos served as training material to help students grasp concepts more effectively and are now available on their LMS platform.

Fun Fact!

Initially it was created for students in grades 5 to 7, but these videos had no age limit- college students also appreciated the simplified storytelling approach and requested similar study materials. Now, these videos are being used as training material on their LMS platform to enhance learning for a broader audience.

I identified several issues with the old logo that needed refinement. The word “Learning” was not clearly visible, making it difficult to read. Additionally, the overall design felt unbalanced, and the colors often appeared inconsistent when printed, affecting the logo’s clarity and impact.

For the redesign, I focused on creating a cleaner and more readable version while maintaining the original font and shades. I enhanced the visibility of the word “Learning,” modernized the typography for a fresher look, and improved the overall balance of the design. I also adjusted the colors—brightening and darkening them where needed- to ensure better contrast and print accuracy.

I made and settled the brand guidelines for the company along with its identity design. This helped the company to maintain consistency with their look and feel as a brand.

I worked on their website design and updations. It was published and managed using their LMS. It had 2 target audienes- Colleges & School, so the website has 2 different looks for the 2 sections based on the audience and for differentiation.
